Preparing work orders for an outside review
A short checklist for maintenance managers inviting an external operations review in Thailand.
Outside reviewers move faster when the extract is boringly consistent. Pick a four-to-six week window and export every closed and open job in that span—no cherry-picking of ‘good’ weeks.
Include job type, created time, assigned technician, site district, arrival time if recorded, and close time. Client names can be anonymised; locations still need enough detail to map travel.
Note known distortions: a festival week, a typhoon day, or a warehouse move that emptied half the roster. Context prevents false conclusions about crew skill.
Agree safety rules before anyone shadows a live job. Some industrial clients in Samut Prakan require inductions; book those early so observation days are not wasted.
Share one contact who can answer dispatch questions the same day. Reviews stall when every clarification waits for a weekly meeting.
